Welcome To:
NAASC South Florida Chapter

The South Florida Chapter of the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College (NAASC) is your go-to resource for connecting with fellow Spelman alumnae, supporting current Spelman students, and helping prospective students and their families learn about Spelman College and its vibrant South Florida alumnae community.

Our Mission

The National Alumnae Association of Spelman College (NAASC) is the official organization that supports Spelman College, a historically black college for women, through financial gifts, student recruitment, sisterhood, community service, and recognition of Spelman women.

The South Florida Chapter serves alumnae, students, and community members in Miami- Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.  We actively seek to involve all former students and graduates in the South Florida area  to fulfill its purpose.

We fundraise for scholarships and the overall mission of our chapter, support recruitment efforts, celebrate Spelman Alumnae, civic leaders, and community service. One of our initiatives is our annual student send-off where we embrace the incoming freshman and the returning upperclassmen with gifts and sisterly love. We also celebrate Spelman College's Founders Day in April and attend many community events throughout the year.
